Lucky stars

These are Roulette stars (designed by origami expert Paolo Bascetta). I love the simplicity of just using paper - no glue, no tape, no measuring.

Recycle old catalogues, newspaper, wrapping paper, sheet music and string them up in groups or tie them onto presents instead of a bow.
Gift wrapping with recycled paper - no need for sellotape, it's all held in place with ribbon

Get cool free newspapers from Chinese supermarkets

You'll need 8 squares of paper (any size so long as they are all the same) and follow these steps...

For other stars try this tutorial for a star from a pentagon from Five Go Blogging.

And for tiny star garlands - I love these, they are really easy to make - try this tutorial from Folding Trees (just run a string through the stars).

This is my second link up to the Advent Blog Hop at Snafflesmummy

And I'm also linking to the excellent Lulastic Recycled Christmas
